Our visit to The Aquarium Restaurant in Nashville, TN
On August 30, 2007, we ate dinner at the Aquarium Restaurant in Nashville. They have a 200,000 gallon saltwater tank in the middle of the restaurant with tables and booths surrounding it on all sides. There are probably no seats more than 30 feet from the fish.
We had seafood for dinner, so there was this somewhat unsettling feeling that the fish were giving us the evil eye! The food was great and the constant fish show was even better. One shark in the tank would make a circuit then rest on a rock platform. Also, there was a very peculiar looking shark ray that almost looks as much like an accident of nature as a platypus.
Nationwide, there are 4 Aquarium restaurants, so there may be one near you.
